This is one of our most popular Barometers we produce, they come in a range of sizes from 72mm up to 160mm in diameter with the wooden part extending approx 20mm all round.
The one shown here is a 130mm diameter Barometer with an over all diameter including the wood of 180mm, it has a brass wall hanging plate inset into the back.
Ash was used for the surround.

A Double Diaphragm Barometer.
These are the highest quality of Barometer available today, with an exposed double diaphragm mechanism for absolute precision. Available in 130 or 160mm diameters.
